Jamie's Ultimate Guide to Beer

Ok I am with Taylor and that I just can't the government is so screwy (this week it is beyond screwy) that it almost is too emotional to express my disdain through the art of blogging so I think beer is a better topic.

MMM Beer...

The Right beer for the right occasion....

1. A Clemson game- you can't go wrong with a cold Bud Light on that hot football Saturdays.

2. Party at Kyle's- Last one was Mic Light, but no matter what's in the keg the party is a kick ass time.

3.Cold day - this one is a toss up between a Sweetwater 420 with a hat of Guinness or a cold Newcastle. Both are winter time favorites.

4. Warm day outside at a bar with cash to blow- No question. Bring on the Hoegaarden and an ass of lemons.

5. Warm day at the beach- Corona, some limes and sunscreen

6. College student on pay day- for me I was a fan of Lowenbrau but it is bitter.

7. Fun with sake- Kirin Ichiban, some friends and fun on a birthday. Sake Bomb!

8. Fall back beer- Killians Irish Red.

9. Beer I will NEVER drink again- Icehouse, too many stories and scars with unhappy ending.

10. Light beer of choice- Amstel

11. New beer I am digging- Peroni

I know we all have different taste so do you have any to share?

Drunken night of dancing--Red Stripe

Hanging at the bar aftr hours and playing arcade bowling-Bass

If'm drinking bottled beer, I usually like Corona (with the requisite lime, of course). For draft beer, I like Harp, or perhaps a Black and Tan, or definitely a hefeweisen in the summer. Mmm...

I love this! I'm gonna do it too!

I'm really digging the wee kegs for social gatherings...and anything you can get in a wee keg (Warsteiner, Heineken, a whole bunch of random German beers) pretty much kicks ass. So there's my two cents.

Aside from wee kegs, my personal favorites include:

All around: Bass Ale (draft only)

Cheap beer: used to be Bud Light but I am recently a convert to Miller Lite. Great taste, less filling!

Everyday relaxin' beer: Carolina Blonde (thanks Whit!)
